EDIT: The correct translation could be great world, great planet, or great universe, doesn't really matter which one as they all mean pretty much the same thing.

(notice how the current planet is completely covered in water, an bara magna is a desert, they are opposites.)
-"the two that must make them one", the two swooshes of the UDD, represnt mata nui and teridax.
-"he must remember..." , refering to teridax.
-"the journey of 100 000 years", the number of years mata nui has been awake, mata nui left paradise 100 000 years ago, to go to the current planet to try to fix The Shattering.
-"we must go there...", "brutaka" and axxon must go to the coliseum to remind Teridax.
-"before The Shattering can end.", before the universe dies.

In summary: Once there was a Great Universe that broke apart into three planets. To fix this, the great beings created mata nui, to go and fix the universe. They created him on the paradise planet, where the great beings live, and sent him off into space towards the current planet. he traveled for 999 000 years, but in the meantime, teridax formed the plan and attacked him, because of this, he could not land properly on the planet, and he crashed creating the great cataclism and making him unconcious. 1000 years later mata nui is woken up, but teridax takes over his body and sends him flying out of the body in the form of the mask of life. He goes to bara magna, another planet, where (now this is pushing it a bit, but...) he gains a new body, teridax and mata nui, now both great spirits, then work together, to fix the Great Universe their destiny.

I know most of this is speculation, but it's logical. what do you think?

EDIT: More speculation! Perhaps in the beginnig the great beings made two great spirits and sent one (Mata Nui) to the current planet, and the other to bara magna, but for some reason or other the other great spirit crashed on bara magna and died (bara magna means great tomb), it's inhabitants then left it's body to go to the planet surface.
So when mata nui goes to bara magna, he has to convince the inhabitants to go back inside the great spirit. then using the ignika he restores life to it but because the other great spirit is dead he takes it's place. EDIT: Teridax was originally put in the matoran universe as a final failsafe. Incase mata nui died for good, he was to take over his body and continue with the mission. However Teridax was corrupted and took over the matoran universe when it wasn't necassary, not to mention that he was corrupted. It is thus why "brutaka" and axxon wust go to right the wrong.

e mais uma coisa, há algo que me leva a achar que matanui sabe onde e bara magna e o paraíso porque quando os blade borrowers foram creados, foram influenciados a fazer tuneis. agora sabes-se que esses tuneis teem a foorma do simbolo. e o mais engraçado e a localizaçao deles ehehee exacto, por baixo de metru nui, ou seja por baixo do cerebro de matanui. oi seja os blade borrowers foram credos pelos great beings unicamente para implantarem um mapa do universo no cerebro de matanui:

Entendi e até acho provável mesmo que este outro grande espírito esteja em Bara Magna mas se um grande espírito morre, o universo dele estará destruido três dias depois disso. Bara Magna então não deveria existir.

Por outro lado, acho que aquela "perna" pode sim indocar um grande espírito, e o suposto Matoro, o Mata nui.

I will present my theory in the form of a timeline of events since the time before time before time, as it is the easiest way to point out all the details and to fully understand just what this theory means.

The Great Universe

In the beginning of time The Great Universe was formed, empty save for one planet, Spherus Magna, The Great Planet. On this planet, the Great Beings, fully organic creatures, lived in harmony and peace.

The Shattering

Then one day, for reasons unknown, their world was torn apart. Spherus Magna split into three, forming three new planets: one a barren sea (the endless ocean planet), one a barren desert (Bara Magna, and the other a paradise.

The Great Spirits

The Great Beings left alive on Paradise knew the three planets must be one again, so they set to work creating two Great Spirits: Mata Nui who would travel to the ocean planet, and another (which I will call Genus Magnus) who would travel to Bara Magna. Their mission: to observe the planets and make them one again.
In case something was to go wrong, they created a failsafe for Mata Nui, the Kanohi Ignika, the mask of life. And Mata Nui, feeling that it wasn’t enough, created a double failsafe, he made it Teridax’s destiny to take over were he to die.
As well, after Mata Nui and genus Magnus left Paradise, the Great Beings sent a red star after each of them, as a way to make sure everything went according to plan, and to relay information to them.

Mata Nui’s Journey

On his way to the ocean planet, Mata Nui was attacked by the Makuta, unabling him from functioning properly, making him crash on the planet. The impact was so great that he tumbled into unconsciousness, and, 1000 years later, died. As soon as he died, Teridax slipped in and took his place before the Toa Mahri could revive him. Teridax was corrupted and took over the Matoran Universe for reasons of conquest, not realizing he was a failsafe.

To Bara Magna

Mata Nui, now banished from the Matoran Universe and trapped in the mask of life, now travels to Bara Magna. Where Genus Magnus has crashed and died, leaving his/her people to roam loose on the planet. Mata Nui must convince them to return to their universe and to repair it while he takes over the body of Genus Magnus.

Destiny

It will then be time for Mata Nui and Teridax to fulfill their destiny of reuniting Spherus Magnus.

Eu sei Takanuva, o que eu disse foi o "suposto Matoro" (aquela possível imagem do set de Mata nui em 2009 que os fãs pensavam ser o Matoro Inika devido as parecenças na forma do set), não disse que são o mesmo.
